When you start your career in Gray Zone Warfare, you’re thrown headfirst into a hostile land and told very little about your objective. You must accept tasks from the vendors, complete your objectives, and earn cash for better gear. Your first task requires some investigation skills, however, to scout three locations: a Gas Station, a Convenience Store, and a Demolished Building. Here is how to complete First Recon in Gray Zone Warfare while playing for Mithras!
Where to Find the Gas Station
Your first objective for First Recon is to locate and check the area surrounding the local gas station. It’s on the far side of town, out past the main gate and surrounded by fields.
More specifically, you can find the gas station at coordinates 170, 121. It’s right here on the map:
Once you find the spot, be wary. A few hostile rebels spawn in and around the gas station. I fought approximately four—three in the parking lot and one outside on the street near the side entrance.
Where to Find the Convenience Store
Your second objective is a run-down convenience store near the center of town. Its coordinates are 171, 118.
For a more precise location, check the map below. It’s right where my player market sits.
Like the gas station, be wary of enemies in the surrounding area. As this is right near the main thoroughfare through Nam Thaven, it’s loaded with rebels carrying AKs. They’ll shoot on sight, as will many of your teammates attempting to find the same objectives, so watch your six!
Where to Find the Demolished Building
Lastly, it’s time to track down the demolished building. It’s just near the entrance to the main street through town, close to Bravo 1 Landing Zone.
Its exact coordinates are 170, 116.
You’ll stumble upon a few enemies here, with most wandering through the center of town. This is, however, the only unmarked objective for this quest. It’s not going to pop up with a bit of experience and a map marker like the other two locations.
First Recon Task Rewards
For completing First Recon in Gray Zone Warfare, you will receive the following rewards:
- MOC II
- TC-2000
- $3,400 USD
- +400 Experience
- +100 Handshake Reputation
The money is useful, the equipment is nice, but the experience and reputation help the most. With more vendor reputation, you’ll unlock new tasks and equipment to purchase in time!
