Limited Run Games held its 2024 showcase on Thursday, and one of the more popular reveals from the event came in the form of a new trailer for the upcoming Gex Trilogy release.
Though no official release date was given, pre-orders for the Gex Trilogy will open this fall and that the games are coming “later this year”. The trilogy includes Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko.
The games will use Limited Run Games’ Carbon Engine to modernize them as well as add various new features.
“Gex Trilogy is the definitive edition of the classic platforming series with Gexcessive attitude, complete with Gextras like rewind and save anywhere,” the trailer’s description reads.
“Relive Gex’s snark-laced adventures through the warped lens of twentieth-century pop culture and use your Gexterity to survive an onslaught of television-themed challenges.”
When it releases, the games will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
