How to Get S Rank on Resident Evil 4 (RE4) Remake Shooting Range 1-A

During Chapter 3 of the Resident Evil 4 (RE4) remake, just after you pass through the Quarry, you’ll come to a Merchant’s shop. This is the first of the Merchant’s shops that has its own Shooting Range. To get to the Shooting Range, use the elevator to the right of the Merchant. Here you’ll find three shooting skill games where you can earn tokens that can be exchanged for Charms at the Token Machine. Charms gives you valuable buffs and you can take unlimited tries on the Shooting Range for free (it doesn’t use your own ammo supply), so it’s worth getting good at it and aiming for an S Rank. An S Rank will get you a Gold Token, and Gold Tokens increase your chances of getting a rare Charm from the Token Machine. Here’s how to master RE4 Remake Shooting Range 1-A in the RE4R Shooting Range.

Resident Evil 4 (RE4) Remake Shooting Range 1-A Guide

For this Shooting Range game you’ll be using the SG-09 R handgun with a maximum 19 ammo capacity. You need 7,000 points to get an S Rank, and to do that you’ll need to hit all 27 pirates to trigger BONUS TIME, and hit plenty of bonus targets. You don’t have to hit any skulls, but if you hit all of them, you’ll get another Gold Token.

For the first wave of Resident Evil 4 Shooting Range 1-A, aim straight ahead, then right, then left, then right. Hit the moving pirate captain without hitting any of the three sailors, then hit the three pirates without hitting the moving sailor. Don’t reload until there’s a pause and the Merchant tells you to.

There are a lot more moving targets in the second wave, but they’re not so hard to hit if you position yourself well and shoot with a regular rhythm. Just aim straight down the middle and wait for the pirates to come into your sights, firing at a rate of about one shot per second. Make sure you don’t hit the sailors mixed into the second line of pirates, then for the third line, sidestep over to the right and get the pirates as they come towards you. Quickly get the yellow pirate in the middle, and you should trigger BONUS TIME.

These targets are treasure chests, a flag, and a parrot. They don’t count towards the 27 required targets, but they do earn you more points. Get an S Rank on Resident Evil 4 remake Shooting Range 1-A and you’ll get a Gold Token.
