Genshin Impact: Imaginarium Theater 7.2 Guide (November 2026)

Imaginarium Theater is one of the three endgame challenges in Genshin Impact that resets on the first of every month. The mode lets you use only certain elements to defeat enemies and offers six free trial characters in its Opening Cast. It also features four Special Guest Characters of different elements to add flexibility.

Imaginarium Theater November cycle has started in Genshin Impact, and this guide will help you clear every major Act with ease so you can get all the rewards. I made it for Lunar mode, so if you are playing at a lower difficulty, it should be even easier.

Imaginarium Theater 7.2 (November) Details

The available elements for the Imaginarium Theater November cycle are Hydro, Electro, and Geo. So your reactions will be limited to Electro-charged, Lunar-Charged, and Lunar Crystallize.

The Opening Characters include Yelan, Aino, Flins, Fischl, Zhongli, and Kachina. Flins and Aino stand out as the most important in this lineup, as both can be used in a strong yet budget Lunar-Charged team. I already have the premium version of this team, but I will tell you later on where the trial version should be used.

The Special Guest Stars include Qiqi, Odette, Vesna, and Jahoda. If you haven’t skipped the Stellar-Conduct units, you should have both Odette and Vesna, a very strong duo you can use for later Acts. Almost everyone already has Qiqi, so this should at least give you some flexibility with Hydro and Electro reactions.

Act 3 – Jadeplume Terrorshroom

Jadeplume Terrorshroom will be the first boss. Luckily, Electro attacks are a great counter for it, so most decent Electro teams should be able to clear it. But let me catch you up on how exactly the boss works.

When Jadeplume Terrorshroom is hit by an Electro attack, the Activation meter under its HP bar will accumulate. Pyro attacks deplete this Activation meter, but since we aren’t using them, we don’t have to worry about that. Once the meter fills, the boss enters a frenzy and performs a barrage of attacks before exhausting itself. An exhausted Jadeplume Terrorshroom just lies on the ground and takes all the attacks like a good shroom for a short period.

Even though it is the first Act, you can’t just use any Electro carry and support to defeat it. I thought Raiden Shogun would be enough as I have her built, but the element restrictions made it clear that we need a proper team. Fischl, Ineffa, Yae Miko, and Kuki Shinobu are some great off-field options to focus on the Activation meter. I recommend pairing a low-cost off-field Electro character with a strong DPS that has good synergy for cost-effectiveness. Varesa, Clorinde, Sethos, and Cyno are great on-field Electro units you can pair with synergistic supports. My only advice would be not to use Lunar-aligned units here because you need them for the next boss.

Act 6 – Lord of the Hidden Depths: Whisperer of Nightmares

The Lord of the Hidden Depths, in short, is a Lunar shill boss. Whether you are a casual or even a seasoned player, it’s almost impossible to defeat it without Lunar reactions. Thankfully, the game was kind enough to lend you a Flins and Aino. Aino is a good substitute for Columbina in budget Lunar teams. However, if you are using the trial version of Flins, these might still not be enough.

Flins relies heavily on Ineffa, and without her, he loses a big chunk of his damage. While I do have this team, I tried it with the trial version without Ineffa, and it wasn’t fun. I would highly recommend getting Zibai as a Support Cast from one of your friends because she is the greatest Lunar DPS. Try going for a higher constellation one. Pair her with Aino or Columbina and supports like Gorou and Illuga, and you will slice through this boss with ease. This team composition will also be useful for the next boss, and is probably your only option if you don’t have blunt damage dealers. If you have Linnea, see if you can defeat it without her so you can use Linnea in both Act 10 and the 2nd Lunar Arcana Challenge.

If you aren’t familiar with this boss’s mechanics, it has a simple phase at the beginning where it activates a Deepdark Shield that is weak against Lunar reactions. It also summons four minions, called Fishers, that are linked to this shield. If you don’t have Lunar characters, you need to somehow group these Fishers and deal big AOE damage to them. Defeating them removes the boss’s shield and makes it vulnerable to your attacks.

Act 8 – Battle-Hardened Samachurl

The Battle-Hardened Samachurl is a boss you may have encountered as the Local Legend Churldric. It has unique, albeit annoying, mechanics, and without the right counter, even strong DPS will struggle.

During the fight, the boss summons a hot pot at the center of the field and begins cooking. Pyro attacks advance the cooking, while Hydro slows it. The hot pot counts as a Geo construct. You must destroy the hot pot before the boss finishes cooking, and only two things work against it: Geo and Claymore.

If the boss finishes cooking, it heals itself and gains massive Elemental and Physical RES. If the timer runs out and it doesn’t finish cooking, the boss will become enraged and unleash a massive AOE attack. If you destroy the hot pot in time, the boss will be weakened with reduced Elemental RES.

Any Geo or Claymore character works well, but I recommend a mix of both. Characters like Navia, Itto, and Noelle will destroy the hot pot fastest, and since they aren’t as good against other bosses, using them here is ideal. You also get Zhongli and Kachina as Opening Characters, so you can utilize them as well. The boss itself isn’t difficult; you just need to destroy the hot pot, and it becomes trivial. If you took my advice and used a Zibai team earlier, you can use it again here. Otherwise, even an underleveled Noelle should at least help you destroy the hot pot with ease.

Act 10 – Radiant Moonfly

Radiant Moonfly is a Dendro/Pyro boss with high RES to both elements. Luckily, we don’t have either of those available, so you are good to go. The only problematic thing about Radiant Moonfly in this Imaginarium Theater is its Radiant Cocoon attack. This attack debuffs your party members and reduces their Crit Rate by 100%. You can remove this debuff by healing your characters to full HP.

You desperately need healers for this fight, and thankfully, there are many options. For Geo, you have Xilonen and Linnea, but most people may not have them or could have already used them in the earlier fight. You can use Iansan, Kuki Shinobu, Vodyanitsa, Kokomi, or even Barbara. If you don’t have some of the other 5-Star healers and need to rely on Barbara, save her Burst for the Cocoon attack and build her specifically for healing.

With that, you should be able to defeat the Radiant Moonfly. It is the final Act of Imaginarium Theater, so even if you have the right counters, be sure to bring your best DPS, or you will still fall behind. The benefit of characters like Xilonen and Vodyanitsa here is how well they work in almost any team.

First Arcana Challenge

In the First Arcana Challenge, you have to keep fighting against Consecrated Beasts until the timer runs out. Each kill reduces the timer, and for the max reward, you need to defeat 10 of them before the timer ends.

I have always found these challenges to be a test of how good your rotations are. Any good DPS team with a strong shielder or consistent healer will be top-notch here. Keep doing your setups, watch where they spawn, and make sure your Elemental Skills hit for the energy particles. Aside from that, it’s purely about having enough DPS and that entirely depends on your roster.

Second Arcana Challenge

The Second Arcana Challenge has a Cryo Wayob that you may have faced as a Local Legend in Natlan. This boss fight is not just about having DPS; in fact, I would say having a good healer is more important.

During the battle, another Wayob will spawn, but it will be on your side. Once it connects to you, you want to heal your characters as much as possible. Any incoming healing, even if it’s overheal, counts towards this. Once you’ve done enough healing, the friendly Wayob will start attacking the enemy boss. The more you heal, the more damage it deals, which is why you mostly want healers for this challenge. Gather all that you aren’t using in other challenges and use them here.
