On Wednesday it was revealed that Microsoft was raising the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate by 50%. While there were other changes to the various plans that some fans may like, the pricing change led to a lot of backlash online from fans who may have finally had enough. One company that agrees with fans on the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate price frustration is GameStop.
After the news broke, GameStop took to social media to make an important announcement for players.
“We will continue to sell Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $19.99/month in-store and online,” the company said while following it up with a link to purchase monthly membership cards from their website.
What’s more is that if you are a GameStop Pro Member ($25/year), you can get a slight discount of 5%. That brings the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate price down to $18.99 a month.
