The release window for Game of Thrones: War For Westeros has been revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live, sparking the countdown until launch.
Officially revealed at 2025’s Summer Game Fest, Game of Thrones: War For Westeros is a real-time strategy title based on the iconic franchise, and a release window for the PC exclusive has now been shared.
Game of Thrones: War For Westeros Coming Spring 2027
As revealed during the Gamescom Opening Night Live event, Game of Thrones: War For Westeros has a release window for Spring 2027.
The release window announcement comes fresh off the back of a gameplay teaser revealed earlier this month, which brought an end to a month-long wait for further news on the title after July’s development update.
War For Westeros pits players in control of all the big families in the Game of Thrones universe, including House Stark, House Lannister, and House Targaryen, as well as the Night King’s Army of the Dead.
The last development update confirmed the title would be pushed back to an early 2027 release window, having initially been slated for release this year.
