Forza Horizon 6 Has Made Over $140 Million from Premium Edition

Forza Horizon 6 is already out for those who pre-ordered the Premium Edition of the game. Early Access began on May 15, with the game launching globally on May 19. The game is already a massive success, with the numbers to back it up.

As of this writing, there are currently 118,809 players on Steam. Earlier that day, on May 16, the game had over 178,000 players. Furthermore, new evidence shows the game has surpassed 1 million players.

Forza Horizon 6 Surpasses 1 Million Players Before Launch

A screenshot shared on DayOne suggests that nearly 1.2 million players opted to secure the premium version of Forza Horizon 6.

As the Premium Edition of the game costs $120, it’s likely the game has already secured, if not surpassed, $140 million in revenue. That’s just from players who bought the most expensive version of the game. It’s unknown how much the number will rise once everyone around the globe begins to filter in on May 19.

Based on 65 critical reviews, the game currently sits at 92 overall on Metacritic and has been given a must-play badge. A dozen outlets, including Insider Gaming, gave the game a perfect score. The lowest review so far is a pair of 70s. The general complaint from those reviews is that the game currently lacks depth.

The game, which is heavily influenced by Japanese cultural beliefs, will likely remain a focus for developers for years to come. As for the player community, mods have already begun to surface online. Learn more about that here.

Insider Gaming will continue to monitor all things Forza and report any updates as more information becomes available.
