After a clean Windows install I usually focus on small quality of life stuff. I disable unnecessary startup apps, turn off mouse acceleration, and make sure the correct chipset and GPU drivers are installed. I also tweak power settings and remove background apps and overlays I never use. It does not boost FPS directly, but the system feels a lot more responsive and stable overall.
Gotta love a fresh clean install. First thing I do is chipset + GPU drivers, then Windows updates. Disable unnecessary startup apps, set Nvidia Control Panel to prefer maximum performance and low latency. Power plan on High Performance, trim some Windows visual fluff. Simple setup, but it runs smooth.
