First Official Details on the Next Battlefield Game Revealed, Returns to Modern-Day Combat

Anything from EA at this point is lip service, only reason I have any inkling of interest in a BATTLEFIELD game is because of Vince Zampella being involved.

I think the point of them announcing this early is to try and build this trust back up for the franchise. It makes sense, but if they can do it or not is anyone's guess.

What sort of likelihood are we talking for spectacular leap to a new-classic era of BF vs even more dissapointment after 2042? The series really seems defeated at this point.

Really hoping this is a return to proper Battlefield. I wish they would just make a Bad Company 3 though! Maybe if this does good the next game could be.
