Fortnite players should be familiar with regular downtime by now, with Epic Games settled into a bi-weekly schedule, and servers are unavailable on July 30 as the latest update is deployed.
The current season is edging closer towards a conclusion, but there are no signs of the slew of new content stopping, which includes a variety of additions across multiple modes in the July 30 Fortnite update.

When Will Fortnite Servers Be Back Up?
Fortnite servers are down for several hours for the July 30 update and, as usual, an exact time for their return has not been confirmed by Epic Games.
Following the last patch on July 16, Epic Games continues with the familiar downtime schedule, but this could be the final downtime of the season, with the transition into the next part of the chapter scheduled to arrive in mid-August.
Fortnite’s servers are expected to go offline at around 4 AM ET on July 30 and will remain unavailable for around three to four hours, based on the standard downtime duration for updates of this size.
You can expect the Fortnite servers to return at around 7-8 AM ET on July 30, but the best place to keep track of when the servers are back online is social media.
What’s in The Fortnite July 30 Update?
The biggest addition in the July 30 Fortnite update is the return of The Simpsons collab, which is set to take over Fortnite Reload.
Reload will bring the Springfield map from last year back into play, alongside the NPC bosses, loot, and more from the major collab that brought an end to the last Fortnite Chapter.
Elsewhere, the update will bring a fresh slew of Sprites to collect in the main Battle Royale mode, while a Spider-Man collab kicks off on July 31 to mark the release of the latest movie.
In Fortnite Festival, Lil Tecca arrives as the next Icon, bringing a new Season Pass to complete, and there should be other surprises in store too.
