Fortnite Ranked Play is Coming Soon

Epic Games has teased that Fortnite Ranked play is coming to the game soon.

Taking to Twitter, the official Fortnite account posted a new video of eight different emblem ranks, which will be coming to Fortnite ranked play soon.

It’s not entirely clear on when Fortnite Ranked play will release, but the announcement could suggest it will be a part of Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 3. Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 3 is expected to begin at the beginning of June.

Fortnite has continued to innovate since its Battle Royale mode was released in September 2017 and has become a huge commercial success. In December 2019, Epic Games reported that Fortnite had generated $9 billion since its release. In 2021, Epic Games reported that the game had generated $5.8 billion in 2021 alone.

Earlier this month, it was revealed by the International Olympic Committee that a Fortnite Olympics event will soon take center stage at the Olympic Esports Series 2023, which will be held live in Singapore from the 22nd to the 25th of June. However, instead of fighting one another, competitors will take place in a series of target aiming trials, which is designed to ‘best reflect sport shooting competitions’. The event will take place on a newly created map called the International Shooting Sport Federation Island.
