Fortnite Collaboration With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leaked

Fortnite may be getting a new collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, according to a new leak on Twitter via @FNLeaksAndInfo. The leak also mentions potential new cosmetics for Mr Beast and Dragon Ball:

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a natural complement for Fortnite. They already have unique abilities, and nearly everything since the comics has been family friendly.

These characters have a playful whimsy that will match the colorful, upbeat, and wacky freedoms of Fortnite. In fact, it would be likely for the iconic turtles to also end up in the LEGO mode.

Between the ninja turtles and Dragon Ball, this Fortnite collaboration would definitely cater to 90’s fans. Both are also action-oriented, making them suitable for the various Fortnite modes.

The turtles have seen a major revival following the success of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and its DLC, Dimension Shellshock.

The Mutant Mayhem film adaptation partly helped forge a new generation of fans, too. References to either of these releases would naturally earn a lot of goodwill.

This collaboration also opens the door to other characters in the TMNT universe. It would be a shame to omit Splinter, Shredder, or the rest of the turtles’ extensive rogues gallery in the long run. Many familiar villains showed up in Mutant Mayhem.

The apparent back bling and other accompanying cosmetics in today’s leak also look terrific, particularly the skateboard. Those boards play a large role in their personalities, and continue to make an appearance in major adaptations.

Unfortunately, the asymmetrical multiplayer game Dragon Ball: The Breakers was quite a flop. Fans of the IP should be pleased to have a memorable character join Fortnite. Otherwise, there is always Kakarot or Xenoverse.
