Tweaks to the available NPCs are one of Fortnite‘s customary seasonal changes, often featuring characters that are available to unlock as skins in the Battle Pass, which remains the case this season.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 has a busy map with lots to discover, including a wealth of NPCs scattered into the environment who can be of use during matches.
Continuing the vein from Season 1, not all NPCs have defined services, and their offerings will vary each match. From what’s been seen so far, the available options are:

- Spawn a Rift (500 Gold)
- Restock Ammo (500 Gold)
- Health & Shields (500 Gold)

Meanwhile, Specialists are available to hire who follow you for the remainder of the map, providing support based on their class. This includes ammunition and healing, which can be of major assistance, especially later on in matches. However, they’re not great at hiding, so they may give your position away.

How Many NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2?
There are 14 total NPCs available to encounter at the start of Chapter 7 Season 2, which may increase or decrease as the season progresses.
Interacting with each NPC for the first time provides a small amount of XP, so it’s worthwhile tracking them down to provide an early boost to your Battle Pass progression.

Many of the NPCs this season are located in close proximity, including three at Squibbly Shores, with Fishstick not that much further away at Humble Hills, and three NPCs around New Sanctuary.
