After months of threats of a lawsuit, the Florida Joker, real name Lawrence Sullivan, now says he won’t sue Rockstar Games over Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6.
In a new video posted on his TikTok (you can watch it below), Sullivan said that he still wants to “voice the character” while appearing at various meet and greets for the game moving forward.
“I’m not suing y’all no more,” he said. “I’m not suing y’all, but y’all still out your *** **** nuggets.”
He went on to say that it’s been “two whole months” that he’s been requesting to talk about the character he views as a blatant use of his likeness in the GTA 6 trailer.
“Let’s do what’s right,” Sullivan said. “Show me like $50,000, $100,000. Let me voice the character, let me go to the meet-and-greets when the game is released, sign, take pictures with the fans.”
He then wraps up the video claiming that he’s “making the game more relevant”, and that he’s the reason “the game is so hype right now”.
Rockstar continues to ignore his requests nor have they released a single comment on the matter. It’s expected that that will continue.
