It Was Hard For jcobbb To ‘Get Into The Groove’, Karrigan Says
In a recent HLTV interview, Karrigan took a deep dive into jcobbb’s outlook and position in the wider FaZe Clan roster. He revealed what has strengthened jcobbb as the tournament in Budapest has unravelled.
I think for jcobbb, definitely the pressure, I think mental aspect. We have seen how good he was in practice and it was hard for him to get into the groove. I also think NEO made a great point, he had one of the worst rookie scenarios I ever see in my life. He comes from an online BLAST to playing in an arena, he didn’t play to set up yet in a studio environment. You go to Pro League, it feels really good in practice, and he’s not playing for 12 days. We go to China, 24 hours there we’re playing officials.
Karrigan stressed that he’s now ‘proud’ of jcobbb, who has shown some rookie nerves in interviews backstage at the Budapest Major.
The IGL also took a moment to discuss broky’s talents, suggesting that he’s ‘the best teammate version of himself’ right now in Hungary.
FaZe Clan will face a tough opening bout for the playoffs at the StarLadder Major, clashing with MOUZ and then going on to face either FURIA or Natus Vincere.
