After being reported to be a part of this year’s Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, Fable received a brand new trailer for fans.
The trailer, which you can see below, gives players a first look at the environment, art style, an gameplay within the game. In addition to that, it was revealed that Richard Ayoade will be a character within the game.
“What does it mean to be a Hero? Well, in the fairytale land of Albion, that is entirely up to you,” Microsoft says. “With a dark threat looming, and in a world where your reputation precedes you, your choices will change Albion forever.”
Originally revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase in 2020, news around Fable has been few and far between. That said, with Microsoft promising no full CG trailers at this year’s show, getting a look at what the actual new Fable game will look like has to be exciting for fans of the series.
There’s still no scheduled release for the upcoming RPG. However, Microsoft did say that it will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass
