The Beyond Good and Evil Remaster, which will be named the ’20 anniversary edition’ has been rated by the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee.
Although the rating doesn’t imply an exact release date, Insider Gaming had heard during its investigation into the morale of Ubisoft, that the game is scheduled to release on March 5th, 2024. At the time, the date was left out of the report due to Ubisoft’s tendency to delay its games and while the rating is not a direct confirmation, it [the rating] could imply that Ubisoft is gearing up for a release.
“We’re excited to announce that the official launch is set for early 2024, and we’re dedicated to making it an experience that truly honors the legacy of the original,” Ubisoft said in its official announcement.
Gameplay screenshots of the game leaked in late 2023, which Ubisoft said the company said was “not indicative of the final game”.
