Nintendo eShop has plenty of games on sale for Mario Day (MAR10 Day).
Mario Day is on March 10. There is no connection between that date and the character, except that the abbreviation for the date can resemble his name. A very special thing does happen on MAR10 Day, however. Nintendo puts Mario games on sale.
Mario, Nintendo’s top mascot, rarely has his games go on sale. There are plenty of games on sale for Mario Day on the official Nintendo website and eShop. These titles range from a massively discounted crossover game to newer titles with smaller discounts. All deals are live now run through March 16 at midnight Pacific time.

- Luigi’s Mansion 3 – $39.99, down from $59.99

Mario is also celebrating his 40th anniversary. That event is being headlined by the Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The movie will be released on April 1. However, one final Nintendo Direct presentation will reveal the movie’s final trailer on March 9.
