Escape from Tarkov’s 1.2.0.0 update is finally here, and it introduces a vast array of changes tied to the PvE platform, including the long-awaited arrival of Prestige. It also brings about the EXFIL Brothers Program, an in-game system designed to give new players a boost by pairing them with experienced users, allowing them both to unlock exclusive rewards.
It also offers users the ability to buy in-game roubles with real cash, at a rate that equals a quarter of a billion roubles for around $50 USD. It’s worth stressing that it’s tied exclusively to the PvE platform.
Spend Money to Make Money
If you’ve run flat broke in Escape from Tarkov’s PvE mode, or you just want some big-time f*** you money, you can take some real-world dollars and invest them in a wedge of cash in-game.

The 1.2.0.0 update from Battlestate Games has unlocked a bunch of changes in the PvE world, and this is just one of them.
AI-driven PMCs now behave more realistically; they have better loot pools, and they interact with players and the world differently. Additionally, PvE players can now lean on the game’s Prestige loop, which allows them to soft reset their account and gain a bunch of rewards, while facilitating a second, or third, or fourth… go around of the game.
Several maps have also undergone some changes, with Battlestate changing how extraction points work and even adding some new ones, which is rare. Looting issues have been addressed, namely with the recently added ‘locked boxes’ that often, inexplicably, return no loot when busted open.
