Elden Ring: Nightreign Was June 2025’s Best-Selling Video Game

Video game sales data has been released for June 2025, and Elden Ring: Nightreign remains at the top as the best-selling game for the month.

According to the latest data from Circana, Elden Ring: Nightreign remained on top despite competition from the newly released Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Mario Kart World. Both of those games, which were second and third, are console exclusives while Nightreign is a multiplatform title.

Rounding out the top five were Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Stellar Blade.

As far as new games finding themselves in the Top 20, there were three new releases joining the fray. In addition to the aforementioned Death Stranding 2 and Mario Kart World, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma debuted at 10th for the month. There were also three games that weren’t ini the top 20 last month that made a big jump.

Stellar Blade was 185th in May, but made the move thanks to its PC release on June 11; Elden Ring rose from 24th thanks to interest in the series from Nightreign; and Cyberpunk 2077 jumped from 427 to 18 after launching alongside the Switch 2

Leaving the Top 20 from last month were Doom: The Dark Ages, PGA Tour 2K25, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, F1 25, Helldivers 2, and The Last of Us: Part II.
