Dispatch Coming to Xbox This Summer

Dispatch will be available on all consoles after releases on Xbox this summer. The game was announced for Xbox during the Partner Preview event on March 26.

The interactive visual novel was released in the latter half of 2025 on PC and PlayStation 5, and later on Nintendo Switch 2.

The Switch 2 version was controversial due to the game’s automatic censorship. The Xbox version of the game will likely not have this issue, and censorship will be up to the player. AdHoc later said that they were working with Nintendo to find a pathway forward around the censorship.

Dispatch Was Very Critically Acclaimed

Dispatch, along with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, had the most nominations at the BAFTA Awards in 2026. The game was also heavily praised by the director of The Witcher 3. Konrad Tomaszkiewicz had labeled Dispatch as their Game of the Year. The game sold very well, selling 2 million copies in less than a month.

The game will be released on Xbox and be featured on Xbox Game Pass this Summer. Still, there’s no concrete release date.
