In a story you probably didn’t expect to ever read, one of the best MMA fighters has called out one of the best professional wrestlers. ONE Flyweight Champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson has challenged AEW wrestler Kenny Omega to a match…in Street Fighter 6.
“I would f*** him up in Street Fighter 6, I guarantee it,” Johnson said when asked if he would face Omega.
Johnson then immediately went into a promo against Omega, laying down his terms for a match.

“Kenny Omega, people out there say you’re one of the greatest at Street Fighter 6, but I’ll put $100 — hell, I’ll put $1,000 on it — Street Fighter 6, me vs. you,” he said. “I guarantee I beat you. We can do five matches. Street Fighter 6. Mot modded controllers. Classic.
“Ball’s in your court, playboy.”
In response to the challenge, Omega accepted. But in a post on Twitter, he didn’t seem to appreciate having his Street Fighter skills called into question.
“Anyone’s free to insult my wrestling ability, but this cockamamie idea that you’re better at Street Fighter than me?!,” Omega said. “That makes it personal.”
As far as where the matchup would happen, Johnson wants it to happen in his hometown of Seattle, Washington. It just so happens that AEW has two events coming up in a couple of weeks in the city on Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1.
