Death Stranding 2 PC Release Date Countdown & Exact Start Times

It’s no secret that a PC port of Death Stranding 2 was on the cards, broadening the sequel’s platforms. It could prove to be one of the last PS5 exclusives going to another platform, so find out its release date and when you can start playing it.

Death Stranding 2 was the long-awaited sequel to Hideo Kojima‘s mindbending messenger title. It triumphed in many ways, and Sony had no qualms about adding the successor to its PlayStation-to-PC scheme. If you’ve been waiting for DS2 on PC, then it’s nearly time for PC to deliver.

Death Stranding 2 finally launches for PC gamers on March 19.

‘What took you so long?’ That question is often thrown around in the Metal Gear Solid universe—even by Kojima himself—but it’s only a nine-month turnaround between the PS5 release and PC.

It follows a similar time frame to the first game’s arrival on PC, and this could end up being one of the most significant PlayStation exclusives arriving on PC. A report arrived in March 2026 claiming that Sony was no longer releasing single-player PlayStation exclusives on PC.

Should this turn out to be accurate, Death Stranding 2 could very well end up being the last of its kind for PC owners. After this, it might be time to upgrade your console collection or start building one.
