Dead Island 2 Launch Trailer Released

Dead Island 2 launches on April 21, and publisher Deep Silver has released the launch trailer for players.

The trailer gives players another look at the dangers of Hell-A, and all that awaits when you get into the game.

In Dead Island 2, players take control of one over six survivors who’ve found out they’re immune to the zombie virus. With the goal to escape Hell-A, you’ll use an assortment of weapons to take out every zombie by any means necessary.

“With different environmental effects to experiment with and your own strange abilities as an infected yet seemingly immune zombie virus survivor, there are ample ways to take out the undead,” the game’s description reads. “As long as there’s a trail of gore behind you, there isn’t a wrong way to mow down the hordes.”

After first being announced in 2014, Dead Island 2 finally launches Friday for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. For PC players, the game is available exclusively via the Epic Games Store.

Are you excited for Dead Island 2 after seeing the launch trailer?
