In a new post on X today, the Dead by Daylight team confirmed all of the content coming in July 2024 with an official roadmap.
The devs teased a livestream for the anticipated 2v8 game mode for July 16, ahead of the mode’s release on July 25.
Week 2 will also feature another archive with “Mythic”, as well as the previously announced Lara Croft survivor. Croft will come with the Finesse, Hardened, and Specialist perks, which emphasize athletic and survival skills.
Week 3 will include both the 2v8 game mode and a Blood and Bones collection on July 25. Finally, week 4 will close things out with a “Forgotten Memory” collection on July 30.
Many fans are already calling for 2v8 to become a permanent mode in Dead by Daylight, following its July debut.
Although the game frequently has popular IP collaborations, it also continues to regularly update and evolve. The new 2v8 mode will greatly increase the scope of a match, and likely invite some surprising new combinations.
