David Vonderhaar Has Teased His New Project With a Cryptic Video

Minutes ago, David ‘Vondy’ Vonderhaar shared a link to a site that’s nothing more than a landing page with a looping video. It has so far shown a red barn set against a forest backdrop. There’s a tractor parked up, shirts drying on a washing line, and all manner of tools and posts sticking out of the front of said barn in a very cryptic manner. It was originally showing a night scene, but now it’s a daytime loop.

What’s Vondy Teasing?

It’s not at all known what Vonderhaar is showcasing on the site he’s teased: attractscreen.info.

Last August, David Vonderhaar left Treyarch after more than 19 years at the company, during which he built a profile as one of the most popular and recognisable Call of Duty developers. He left the company to work on an ‘undisclosed project’ at the time – and it looks as though that project is about to be… Well, disclosed.

Last year, he said:

Thank you to the Call of Duty community for your passion and enthusiasm. That energy has often fueled our determination as a studio and individuals. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to interact with so many of you directly online and in person. This energy will always be a massive part of me.

There’s nothing more to glean from the teaser page at the moment – but you can watch the 20-second loop repeat ad infinitum until something changes.

We’ll have the latest as soon as it’s available.
