Concord Editions Revealed on PlayStation Store

Concord was revealed just a few days ago at the State of Play showcase, and gamers worldwide immediately found issues with the ‘hero-shooter fatigue’ that’s running rampant. In a nutshell, Concord looks like a cross between Overwatch and Guardians of the Galaxy, and the five-vs-five multiplayer-based operating system probably won’t move mountains anytime soon.

Recently, the editions of Concord available to pre-order surfaced on the PlayStation store, showcasing the bonuses you’ll receive for securing the highest edition of this upcoming shooter.

Is It Enough?

Concord has been in development for quite some time. It’s the debut title from Firewalk Studios, and for years, prospective fans didn’t know what to expect from the project. Now that it has been revealed in full, we know exactly what it’ll look like – but the game has proven to be divisive thus far.

There are two editions of the game available for pre-order on the PlayStation store: Standard and Digital Deluxe.

If you opt for the standard game, all you’ll get is just that – the game. Presently, it’s sitting with a price tag of $59.95 AUD ($40 US), which is to be expected. However, gamers interested in picking up a little more bang for their buck can secure the Digital Deluxe Edition for $94.95 AUD ($60 USD), which comes with:

  • Full Base Game
  • 16 Character Skins
  • 72-Hours Early Access
  • ‘Monarch’ Pack

It was also referenced that all pre-orders will get access to the game’s beta, which goes live in July, just a few weeks before the full game is released toward the end of August.

  • I don’t usually like saying this but this game is DOA. As the article states that we’ve hit a period of hero shooter fatigue. OW2 is still going strong and Marvel Rivals is looking promising. The thing is, they’re both F2P. Unless this game offers something really significant to really make it stand out, it’s just going the way of Battleborn. It was a dumb decision to make it premium.
