Call of Duty’s Season 2 Reloaded Update Arrives March 6

Activision recently revealed everything that’s coming to the Call of Duty ecosystem in the Season 2 Reloaded update, which is due to drop tomorrow, March 6, at 9 AM PT. It’s a sizeable update for a mid-season tweak that offers up two new weapons, a reimagined classic map, and a series of new modes and bundles to play and purchase. There’s an injection of content for MW3’s Zombies mode, which is appreciated by fans since the core Season 2 update seemed to have left the popular side mode in the dust.

Season 2 Reloaded Changes the Game

In Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, a fresh host of changes have been lined up for delivery as part of the Season 2 Reloaded update. At the top of the table sits a new multiplayer map – Das Haus – which is a reimagination of the small-form Call of Duty Vanguard map of the same name. Players will be able to use this tiny map to level up the two new weapons coming with Season 2 Reloaded, the Soulrender melee weapon and the SOA Subverter Battle Rifle.

There’s a string of new modes coming to MW3, including Juggermosh and Bounty, and more existing maps and modes have undergone a drastic change as part of the new ‘map variants’ selection. This update will see ‘Airborne’ and ‘Skidgrow’ enter the fray as post-apocalyptic variants of some of the game’s most popular maps.

Warzone fans are being treated to a series of amendments, starting with a new POI in Fortune’s Keep. There’s a fresh killstreak to enjoy – the Bunker Buster Strike – and a new field upgrade that allows players to temporarily clear out a section of the gas cloud.

Finally, there’s a new story mission, a Dark Aether Rift, a dominating Warlord, and new Schematics for Zombies players to contend with. The Season 2 Reloaded update is a comprehensive offering that touches all the corners of the Call of Duty ecosystem, and it all drops tomorrow, March 6.
