Is Chainsaw Man Coming to Fortnite? Release Date Rumors, Explained

Fortnite continues to introduce major collabs thick and fast, with widespread leaks stating that Chainsaw Man is the latest anime set to be given the Epic Games treatment.

Epic Games has proven itself to be the master of collabs, bringing a host of recognisable franchises and celebrities into the game, and there have been widespread collabs with major anime titles.

For all the details on Chainsaw Man’s rumored addition to Fortnite, Insider Gaming has all the details.

No official confirmation has arrived that a Chainsaw Man collab is coming to Fortnite, but a slew of reliable leakers have stated a collab is in the works.

Epic Games has gone heavy with anime collabs in the past year, with the likes of Cowboy Bebop, Kaiju No. 8, One Punch Man, and Bleach all appearing in the Item Shop for the first time, and the success of the releases means it’s highly unlikely that there are plans to move away from similar collabs.

Chainsaw Man is one of the biggest animes yet to appear in Fortnite, so bringing it into the fold makes a lot of sense, but, for now, the collab remains a rumour until an official reveal takes place by Epic Games.

When Will Chainsaw Man be Available in Fortnite?

There is no indication of when Chainsaw Man will be available in Fortnite, if the collab rumours are correct, and there are varying claims among leakers.

SamLeakss states the collab is ‘in the works’, with no timeframe reported, while ShiinaBR added the collab is ‘dropping soon’. Neither of those leakers offered a precise date for when a Chainsaw Man collab could appear, so the potential release date for the collaboration is unknown.

It took less than two weeks for the Bleach collab to be introduced to Fortnite in December after the leaks first appeared. Based on that timeframe, Chainsaw Man could make an appearance sooner rather than later, but Fortnite could hold off until a future season if they want to do a collab introducing items.

If that approach is chosen, it could be a long wait for the collab as Season 2 of the current chapter does not kick off until early March, so there’s still plenty of time to fill.
