What We Know About Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

First revealed at the February 2026 Sony PlayStation State of Play presentation, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse was among the titles Konami announced to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary.

At the June 2026 XBOX Showcase, it was announced that the game will officially release on October 15. This means players will be able to experience the demo two weeks ahead of time.

The game is set in Paris in 1499. Players control Rose Belmont, Trevor Belmont’s successor and the last of the Belmont bloodline. The title is set 23 years after Castlevania: Dracula’s Curse, the third game in the franchise, released in 1989.
