Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Gunsmith Getting New Aftermarket Parts

Activision continues the build-up towards the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. In the latest “Intel Drop” preview video, developers on the game talk about the new gunsmith upgrades coming to Modern Warfare 3, specifically, aftermarket parts.

“Take your loadout customization to the next level in Modern Warfare III,” Activision says. “Aftermarket Parts give you an entirely new way to interact with a weapon while in Gunsmith, utilizing conversion kits to transform a weapon to become something entirely different. Dramatically expand your play style and customize weapons to your vision with Aftermarket Parts in Modern Warfare III Gunsmith.”

According to the video preview, the new aftermarket parts will make your guns feel like completely new weapons even after mastering them.

“We’re going to take one of our heaviest light machine guns in the game have a conversion kit that turns it into a bullpup which greatly shortens the configuration of the gun, and makes it so that you can really run and gun with it,” they say in the video.
