Call of Duty is Seemingly Gearing Up for a Deadpool and Wolverine Collab

One of the most anticipated movies of 2024 is scheduled to release this month, and it seems Call of Duty might be looking to capitalize on that hype. Deadpool and Wolverine hit theatres on July 26, and we will see the action heroes descending in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Warzone and Warzone Mobile.

As spotted by Dot Esports, a user called Crashfty recently posted some peculiar videos on X (formerly Twitter) reminiscent of our beloved Merc with a mouth. The videos showcase new finisher moves for Call of Duty, with stock models enacting the scenes. Interestingly, the depicted scenes show a person killing off another in a very goofy and jovial manner, something that Deadpool is very good at. On the other hand, Wolverine hasn’t been hinted at in any of the scenes.

Marvel collaborations are a no-brainer for games, and Fortnite is the biggest example. Moreover, the potential Deadpool and Wolverine collaboration is a significant event, as it not only sees Hugh Jackman return to put the super suit back on but will potentially help with the revival of the recently degrading Marvel Cinematic Universe. Call of Duty’s next seasonal update seems like the best window to introduce this collaboration, as it begins around the same time as the movie’s release date on July 24.

In other news, Call of Duty’s Fallout update went live last week. What do you think about Deadpool and Wolverine arriving in Call of Duty games? Let us know in the comments.
