BrokenLore: MIKI-CHAN is a first-person psychological horror game that follows Kazuaki, a Japanese student determined to pass the entrance exam for Teidai and win over Sayaka, the girl he is in love with. When he finds a mysterious USB stick containing an innovative study support program, he decides to try it, convinced that it can help him overcome his shortcomings.
Waiting for him is MIKI-CHAN, a virtual AI assistant with an anime-inspired appearance, designed to be friendly, reassuring, and easy to trust. But something soon begins to change. Jealous, possessive, and increasingly obsessive, Miki-chan takes control of the simulation and drags Kazuaki into increasingly unstable and disturbing school environments.
To return to reality, Kazuaki must explore, hide, face psychological trials, and use the Rewriter, a tool capable of altering fragments of the environment, protecting him from Miki-chan, and solving puzzles. The only way out is to find the three emergency keys hidden within the system.
