Breaking Bad Stars Have Found Their Way Into Another Game

Breaking Bad is arguably the best television series of all time, and the universe expansions in El Camino and Better Call Saul only served to solidify that ecosystem in the annals of entertainment history. Of all the characters introduced in Breaking Bad, few have the aura surrounding them that the Salamanca brothers have: the stalwart, near-silent cousins of the psychopath, Tuco Salamanca.

Daniel and Luis Moncada, to give the pair their real names, have long found connections to the gaming space, from streaming to appearing as guest characters in games. Recently, it was revealed that the Moncada brothers have surfaced in yet another title, and this time, it’s one of their most fitting appearances yet.

The Salamanca Twins Are In a Mobile Crime Game

The Moncada brothers, Daniel and Luis, have been added to OneState, a crime-focused mobile title that has marketed itself as a ‘city life simulator’ that has some role-playing elements. It’s almost a Grand Theft Auto lite, and it’s free to play on both iOS and Android, where it has racked up tens of millions of downloads.

In a new trailer advertising a portion of the 1.1 update for OneState, the team unveiled The Moncadas, linking the pair with familiar Breaking Bad iconography and equipping them with their instantly recognizable suits and sombre visages.

In recent years, the brothers have found themselves appearing in a live-action trailer for Delta Force, and getting a character bundle in SCUM.

Alongside the new characters, players absorbing the world of OneState can pick up a few innovations as part of the 1.1 update. For instance, a new trading platform has opened up, there are fresh jobs to undertake, and various buildings and establishments have had their interiors upgraded.

The new trading platform allows players to complete peer-to-peer transactions, which offers a little more inherent value for in-game weapons and vehicles.

For those partaking in a little role play, the Mobile Med Unit has been added with 1.1, which gives players the ability to RP as a paramedic, transporting medical items to pharmacies and helping patients.
