The pre-order and pricing details for Borderlands 4 on the Switch 2 have been revealed after today’s Nintendo Direct event.
The Nintendo Direct event today was a partner showcase, featuring roughly 25 minutes of announcements from their publishing partners. Interested readers can find out more about everything announced at today’s event here. Interestingly, we also received details about the Borderlands 4 pre-orders on the Switch 2 post the event.
Borderlands 4 Switch 2 Pre-Order Details and Game Editions
Borderlands 4 pre-orders on the Nintendo Switch 2 are now live, and interested players can purchase the standard edition game now for $69.99. The pre-order bonus for the game is the same as on other platforms. Players will receive the Gilded Glory Pack, which provides them with 1 Vault Hunter Skin, 1 Weapon Skin and 1ECHO-4 Drone Skin.
Then we have the Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition on Switch, which features the Firehawk’s Fury Weapon Skin, a Bounty Pack Bundle, along with the base game, for the price of $99.99. The bundle includes 4 unique areas with new missions and boss, 4 Vault Cards with challenges and rewards, new gear and weapons, cosmetics, 4 new vehicles with new cosmetics.
Last but not least is the Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe edition, which includes the base game, along with the pre-order and Deluxe Edition bonuses (Firehawk’s Fury Weapon Skin and Bounty Pack Bundle). Additionally, players receive the Ornate Order Pack and Vault Hunter Pack. The Ornate Order pack includes four Vault Hunter Skins, 4 Vault Hunter Heads and 4 Vault Hunter Bodies. The Vault Hunter pack includes 2 new playable Vault Hunters, 2 new story packs with story and side missions, 2 new map regions, new gear & weapons, new Vault Hunter cosmetics and new ECHO-4 cosmetics.
Borderlands 4 releases for the Nintendo Switch 2 months after PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 3, 2025. In other news, Borderlands 4 on Switch 2 will run “mostly around 30 fps, with some dips in some intense moments, heavy combats”.
