The latest major update to Diablo 4 is out now and coincides with the start of Season 1: Season of the Malignant, and fans have been vocal. From complaints about level requirements to some even stating the update makes the game feel less like a game and more like a chore or job. Because of the reaction, Blizzard has announced it will be holding a “Campfire Chat” on Friday to address the fan feedback surrounding the latest Diablo 4 update.
“We have been hearing feedback from players regarding some of the changes in 1.1.0 for [Diablo 4],” Diablo global community development director Adam Fletcher said on Twitter. “We are going to have a Campfire Chat later this week on Friday to talk more about it.”
The Campfire Chat discussion will take place Friday, July 21 at 2pm ET/7pm BST, and will be hosted by Fletcher, game director Joe Shely, and associate game director Joseph Piepiora.
“The team will discuss the feedback we’ve received from the community on Patch 1.1.0, and detail what’s on the horizon for Diablo IV,” Blizzard said.
Before the chat even happens, Blizzard has released an update for Diablo 4. The 1.1.0b update removes level requirements for World Tiers III and IV. In addition, Malignant Hearts will “now always grant armor that directly maps with their item power.”
