Blizzard has announced another open beta for Diablo 4 called “Server Slam”.
The announcement came during Blizzard’s Diablo 4 developer live stream on Thursday afternoon.
From May 12-14, Blizzard is opening the game up to all interested players to play Diablo 4 less than a month before it’s final release. The event starts at 3pm ET/12pm PT on May 12, and will be available to players on all platforms.
In addition to the Server Slam announcement, the developers went over the previously revealed updates coming to the game based on feedback from March’s two betas. All of the updates will be a part of the game when you play during the Diablo 4 Server Slam.
On top of that, all of the rewards from the first two betas will be able to be earned during the Server Slam event.
The developers also talked about Diablo 4’s endgame features which includes a new set of dungeons called Nightmare Dungeons as well as a new Helltide area.
Nightmare Dungeons will feature more difficult enemies as well as various modifiers to alter your Diablo 4 experience. The Helltide area is available only in higher world tiers where rewards are increased. However, in the Helltide areas, you lost resources every time you die while playing. What’s more is the fact that as you play, you have to cash out in a specific amount of time or risk losing everything you’ve gained.
Diablo 4 launches June 6 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
