UPDATE: There has been some confusion, as the article headline and content clearly state that both ports will each have the four original DLC Packs; however, we haven’t said anywhere that they will be included in your initial purchase, as some are speculating.
This information remains unclear for now, but we do know that, thanks to the trophy lists, the Black Ops 1 and 2 ports do include the DLC packs. We’ll keep you updated on whether you need to pay extra to unlock them.
Black Ops 1 & 2 fans can rejoice, as the upcoming PS5 ports will include all DLC packs for both games.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 are coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this month, and Activision has confirmed they’re just ports, not remasters. The latest information on the games suggests that the release of the ports might be imminent and will bring back the old DLC.
Black Ops 1 & 2 Will Have 4 DLC Packs Each
As pointed out by PlayStationSize on X (formerly Twitter), the trophy lists have been revealed: Black Ops 1 & 2 will have 4 DLC packs each, meaning all downloadable content is coming for the ports.
No one knows if they’re included with your purchase, or if they need to be bought separately.
Black Ops 1 DLCs
The most recent DLC for Black Ops is Rezurrection, which features “the original 4 maps that spawned the Zombie phenomenon” and includes new weapons, equipment, and perks. There’s also the space-themed Moon map.
