How to Start The Train in Big Walk—Big Ride Achievement, Explained

Travelling across long distances in Big Walk takes a lot of time and is an easy way to get separated from other players in your session, but there are ways to make it easier, including the train.

The train in Big Walk is one of two rideable options for travelling long distances over the world, making it much easier to navigate and travel over long distances, but there’s some work involved.

If you’re on the hunt for the Big Ride achievement and want to unlock the train, Insider Gaming has all the details.

The train begins to operate for the first time once you have completed the blue tower objectives in the game, which may take a while of progressing.

After collecting all of the necessary puzzle rewards and placing them into the open slots at the top of the blue tower, you will receive a key, which can then be cut to access the map.

Head to the bottom of the tower and interact with the first key cutter just outside, then follow the marker that appears on the top of the pillar to the next one, and repeat the process.

Eventually, once the key is fully cut, head inside the building nearby and insert the key. This will result in all of the trains on the map starting to move, including the one located directly near you, which you can jump on to earn the Big Ride achievement.

How to Use The Train in Big Walk

The train in Big Walk is one of the options to make moving over long distances in Big Walk easier, alongside the chairlift and secret tunnels.

There are several trains that run repeatedly around a large loop in Big Walk, which you can jump on at several stations, or by walking parallel to the track and jumping on.

On the train, there is a walkie-talkie and radio receiver, allowing you to communicate with other passengers, along with anyone else on the map with a walkie-talkie, and you can also stop the train when required. However, it has to be held, so you can’t keep it waiting for you indefinitely.

The train is certainly a useful tool, however, and can be used to make some puzzles quicker to complete, but the main use is getting you over long distances quickly.
