August provides a stacked schedule of games, and Big Walk is set to be top of the list for those looking for a new multiplayer title to enjoy.
Created by House House, the team behind Untitled Goose Game, Big Walk is themed around completing a range of puzzles with other players, with varying levels of difficulty.
For all the details on multiplayer in Big Walk, including whether you can play the game solo, Insider Gaming has all the important details.
Can You Play Big Walk Solo?

There’s nothing stopping you from launching into a session of Big Walk on your own and exploring the world, but the game is designed for multiplayer.
You won’t be able to get very far without other players, with many of the puzzles explicitly designed for multiplayer and the use of voice communication.
While there may be some puzzles you can complete solo, it’s not recommended at all, as Big Walk is a game built for co-operative play in multiplayer.
Not only that, but online is the best way to play, as some puzzles will limit voice chat and communication, so it always works best when not in the same room.
How Many Players Can Play Big Walk?
Big Walk supports multiplayer of two to 12 players, providing a variety of options, including small co-operative play, to large, chaotic, sessions full of players.
Resources and items in Big Walk are limited, but so is carry space, which means that there are both advantages and disadvantages to playing with smaller or larger groups.
With crossplay supported, you can gather your friends and other players from across all available platforms, so there’s no shortage of options. However, voice communication may be limited on Nintendo Switch 2 without additional accessories.
While the puzzles do not change with each playthrough, the strategy and approach will vary based on the number of players in your game, so mix it up!
