How to Start The Chairlift in Big Walk—Big Sit Achievement, Explained

Travelling across long distances in Big Walk takes a lot of time and is an easy way to get separated from other players in your session, but there are ways to make it easier, including the chairlift.

The chairlift in Big Walk is one of two rideable options for travelling long distances over the world, making it much easier to navigate and travel over long distances, but there’s some work involved.

If you’re on the hunt for the Big Sit achievement and want to unlock the chairlift, Insider Gaming has all the details.

The Chairlift begins to operate for the first time once you have completed the green tower objectives in the game, which may take a while to progress.

After collecting all of the necessary puzzle rewards and placing them into the open slots at the top of the green tower, you will receive a key, which can then be cut to access the map.

Head to the bottom of the tower and interact with the first key cutter just outside, then follow the marker that appears on the top of the pillar to the next one, and repeat the process.

Eventually, once the key is fully cut, head under the canopy of the chairlift ahead of you and insert the key into the slot, sparking the chairlift into life and unlocking another transportation method.

How to Use The Chairlift in Big Walk

The chairlift in Big Walk is one of two options, alongside the train, of rideable transport that makes navigating over long distances much easier.

The chairlift runs repeatedly in a circle, with each chair heading back in the opposite direction when it reaches the end of the line, and, due to the number of chairs, is often a more reliable form of transport than the train.

Unlike the train, however, there’s no way of communicating with other passengers, unless they’re sat next to you or you have a walkie-talkie in your hands.

If you’re feeling brave, you can also use the chairlift to store key items and transport them over long distances without carrying them, but this does come with a large amount of risk, and the train might be the better option.

Check out the Big Walk launch date trailer below.
