Best Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

Chronomon DM & Chronomon HM
There are two forms of Chronomon, DM & HM, and we’ve grouped them together, with both being extremely powerful options for any team composition that can single-handedly carry you through any content there is to complete in Time Stranger.
Chronomon HM is available much earlier than its DM counterpart, however, with Agent Rank 7 required in comparison to Agent Rank 10. Chronomon DM also requires a huge amount of Agent Skills too, with 46 skills learned across varying categories.
Therefore, Chronomon HM should be the first on your list, with obtaining Chronomon DM being an aim for the long-term.
Jupitermon
Jupitermon is similar to Chronomon DM in the sense that there is a huge amount of requirements for the Digivolution to be unlocked, as you must be at least Agent Rank 9, with a minimum of 46 Agent Skills learned in Bonds of Valor, Philanthropy, Amicability, and Wisdom.
Jupitermon Digivolves from any of the four forms of Aegiochusmon, a Digimon who is more than capable of being a huge part of your team for the majority of the game, though Jupitermon more than takes things up a notch when it is finally obtained.
Ceresmon
Ceresmon has two forms available, the other being Ceresmon Medium, with the ability to change freely between the pair, which in itself is a huge bonus whenever you’re trying to work out the best team composition for any fight.
The bird form is strong defensively, with exceptional healing, though having low offensive stats, while the Medium form has a higher INT, resulting in better damage dealing. The ideal form depends on the role you want Ceresmon to have in your team, and that versatility is a huge strength.
Aegiomon
A core part of the main story in Time Stranger, Aegiomon is among the most powerful Digimon available, even if he initially feels weak. As you progress in the story, Aegiomon becomes much stronger, ending as a Digimon who can single-handedly complete any objective you need.
While he can be Digivolved further to various forms of Aegiochusmon, then into Jupitermon, it isn’t necessary, in all honesty, as he’s more than capable in this form.
EmperorGreymon
Obtainable as a Digivolution from Susanomon once you reach Agent Rank 7, EmperorGreymon may not be directly comparable to all the other Digimon on this list, but the fact it requires less work to get your hands on it means it’s a Digimon definitely worth considering for your squad.
Firedrake Strike, one of EmperorGreymon’s special skills, is one of the most powerful fire-elemental attacks n the game, and is extremely strong against any Digimon that has even the slightest weakness to that particular element.
