Battlefield Devs Show How The Assault Ladder Works in Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6 developers have introduced a brand new elevation tool for the game, the Assault Ladder.

Battlefield 6’s open beta weekend was a resounding success, with developers receiving praise from players worldwide. Recently, the developers revealed that a vast majority of players were playing the game at or around the minimum specs, with some even going lower. Now, the latest update from the devs introduces the BF6 Assault ladder.

Battlefield 6 Devs Have Finally Introduced the Assault Ladder

Details about Battlefield 6’s Assault Ladder come from a new post on X (formerly Twitter) by the official Battlefield account. It is a new tool that players can use to provide their squad access to higher ledges and other elevated points. The Assault Ladder also has the functionality to be used as a ramp when placed at the correct angle. Check out how the new elevation tool works in the game through the video embedded below:

Players have seen the BF6’s ladder several times in the trailer, but it has finally received an official introduction. It is an excellent tool for players seeking to access elevated locations via various pathways. Players could catch a sniper by surprise with this tool, as well as provide their squad access to a variety of other positions on the Battlefield. Some players have already started wondering whether they can get kills with this ladder.

In other news, the Battlefield 6 map leak shows a large US setting for Season One. Also, the game’s weapon ‘Free Look’ mechanic will have YouTubers running wild. What are your thoughts on Battlefield 6’s Assault Ladder? Let us know through the official Insider Gaming forums discussion.
