Bandai Namco Will Announce New RPG This Week

Bandai Namco is set to announce a new RPG on March 5, 2026. As of this writing, that is two days away. The announcement will be made at 6 PM Eastern time. When announcing the news on social media, they showed a seconds-long clip of someone walking with a sword on their back after a quick transition from day to night. The only other clue was in the caption, “A serenity soon to be disturbed.”

Bandai Namco is one of the premier companies when it comes to the RPG market. They, of course, produce the “Tales of” series games as well as the quickly acclaimed RPGs such as Elden Ring and Dark Souls.

Bandai Namco Has a Major Dragon Ball Game in the Works

Bandai Namco also has a major Dragon Ball project in the works. Announced several weeks back as “AGE 1000,” the upcoming title is believed to be the third game in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse franchise. That news came after the Southeast Asian branch of Bandai Namco accidentally shared the original trailer of the upcoming Dragon Ball game in a playlist called “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.” More news is expected on that project in April. Learn more here.

March 5 will also play host to an upcoming Capcom Spotlight event. Among the games being shown at that particular showcase will be the recently announced Mega Man Dual Override. Learn more about the upcoming presentation here.

Insider Gaming will provide coverage of the reveal this Thursday.
