Avowed was first revealed back in 2022, emerging as the first first-party title from Obsidian since the studio was acquired by Microsoft. This open-world RPG smacks of The Elder Scrolls but looks as though it has enough to stand apart from the competition in the fantasy-laden genre, boasting a stunning map, a diverse army of companions, and intense combat mechanics.
At the Xbox Games Showcase, Obsidian shared a brand new trailer for Avowed, which is shaping up to be something special. It’s built in Unreal Engine 5 and looks breathtaking—but that’s the quality that we’ve come to expect from Obsidian over the years. More importantly, the team finally confirmed the Avowed release date.
You can watch the new gameplay trailer below:

This game took way too long and looks way too rough. Hopefully Outer Worlds 2 looks better. Bethesda should have them make New Vegas 2 already and have someone remake New Vegas.
This game looks rough why didn’t they bring in more help to make the big game they originally wanted instead of this bad looking game?
