Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Gameplay Impressions Are Coming Next Week

Insider Gaming has learned that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be getting its gameplay media preview impressions on the week of October 30.

Media had the opportunity to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora recently for approximately three hours which consisted of playing the main mission and several side missions.

It’s understood that the game hasn’t changed significantly since our last exclusive report, so we suggest checking our community questions answered article on game details. Although Ubisoft did not disclose a release date during the event, the media impressions event and embargo would suggest that the game is on schedule for its currently planned December 7, 2023 release.

Avatar gameplay sent to Insider Gaming in August 2023 showed a massive, in-depth world that followed a fairly traditional open-world formula of having the player capture outposts/camps for fast travel. But to take a more scenic route of exploration, the player can use its Ikran to fly around freely.

In June 2023, Ubisoft revealed an in-depth look at Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with a six-minute-long game overview, followed by a story trailer in September.

Insider Gaming understands that the game has been in extensive playtesting in the past several months, with a generally positive reception from players.

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora will be released on December 7, 2023, on the PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox Series X|S, and Amazon Luna.

Will you be playing the game on release? Let us know in the comments below.
