Karmine Corp’s Tristan ‘Atow.’ Soyez has accused former Shopify Rebellion Rocket League player Angel ‘kofyr’ Lopez of sexist remarks while drunk in a post relating to recent sexual assault allegations at the Rocket League World Championships 2026 after-party.
Atow.’s comments followed the proliferation of a clip by Rocket League content creator Bailey ‘bails’ Ryanne, who accused an ‘underage’ North American player of sexual assault at the after-party.
Sexual assault allegations emerge from Rocket League World Championships 2026 after-party
After returning from the Rocket League World Championship 2026, Rocket League content creator bails discussed her experience at the Rocket League Worlds, alleging that she witness multiple sexual assaults.
After accusing an unnamed female content creator of multiple instances of sexual assault, the streamer then began talking about the actions of a pro player.
bails shared, “Now on to the second assaulter: a man, one of the pros. One of the pros at the after-party decided to touch many women’s asses.
“One of the pros, one of the NA pros. He showed up drunk, he’s also underage.” She later added, “It’s not diaz, it’s no one on SpaceStation Gaming, no one on NRG, that’s all I’m going to say.”
She later added, “This person has already been in trouble for other things; I don’t know what the other things are. I heard they’re similar though.
“This guy pro showed up drunk, I don’t know how he got drunk, he’s underage, I don’t know if he just showed up that way or not. Just showed up drunk and was just touching people up.”
The description of the player, combined with the removal of other possible players who fit the description, led social media users to the conclusion that kofyr was the accused player, attaching his name to posts about the clip; however, the player’s name was not stated in the stream.
The free agent is 19 years old, therefore under the legal age to buy, possess, or publicly consume alcoholic beverages in Fort Worth, where Rocket League Worlds 2026 was held.
Atow. comments on allegations stating, accusing kofyr of sexist comments
The clip relating to the alleged assaults was then shared on X by user DelminXO, with the caption, “Pro Rocket League player, allegedly ‘kofyr’ exposed for inappropriately touching women at RLCS Worlds 2026”
The user continues in a reply to their own post, “before we make any judgements, remember that this is just 1 side of the story.”
That second post prompted a reply from Karmine Corp player Atow. who replied, “24/7 drunk, lacking respect, saying sexist things to my girlfriend, i think i will believe the story :)”
The RLCS World Championship 2v2 Champion then refuted a user who accused him of making the post to benefit himself, sarcastically posting, “Yes I win a lot with lying about him, make sense.”
Atow.’s initial reply was subsequently shared on Reddit, alongside the original post and clip. That Reddit post drew a reply from former pro player, ‘Soulflarz.’
The American player made the following comment on the Reddit thread, stating, “FWIW, no direct context on the current situation since I’ve been out and about irl for the past couple weeks and didn’t go to LAN, but yes, Kofyr has a habit of being blackout and has for quite awhile.
“Not really 1:1 with the accusations but yeah it’s not a good look especially when you’re getting accusations like this as a teen.”
A free agent after being released by Shopify Rebellion on September 25, kofyr is yet to comment on the accusations.
