Assassin’s Creed Mirage has reached the 10 million player mark thanks to the release of its new DLC, Valley of Memory.
For those unaware, Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s title update 1.1.0 released this week, introducing the free Valley of Memory DLC content along with significant gameplay improvements, fixes, and more. Now, Ubisoft’s earnings report has revealed that the Valley of Memory majorly contributed towards AC Mirage reaching new heights.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage Reached 10 Million Players Thanks to New DLC
The 10 million-player mark for Assassin’s Creed Mirage was revealed in Ubisoft’s H1 FY26 report. The report adds that early feedback for the Valley of Memory DLC has been “very positive,” doubling player activity since launch and helping the game reach a new milestone in player numbers. Readers should note that 10 million players does not equate to 10 million copies sold.
Moreover, the entire Assassin’s Creed franchise posted a strong performance in Q2, with both Assassin’s Creed Shadows and the rest of the catalog “overperforming”. The report also revealed that in the year-to-date, “Assassin’s Creed has generated 211 million session days, ~35% higher than the last two years’ average.”
AC Shadows also benefited from the release of New Game+ and the Claws of Awaji expansion, which helped re-engage players. The franchise also hopes to reach a broader audience going forward with AC Shadows releasing for the Switch 2 next month.
