Armored Core 6 Physical Discs Leak Ahead of Media Embargo

Posted by Twitter user @Ziostorm1, new leaked images of the Armored Core 6 phyisical disc box suggests that the game could have 2-6 players in multiplayer, plus an addition 3 players as spectators.

The leak comes just days before a media embargo of the game lifts, which is scheduled to release on Tuesday, July 25. Unfortunately, sources who played the game were unable to verify if the game will have multiplayer or not, but it’s understood that the media had several hours to play the game a couple of weeks ago.

Whilst From Software is yet to make any announcements in regards to multiplayer, the lack of media coverage on such a large leak is worth noting as suggesting it has credence (due to the embargo). Either way, we should get some official confirmation in the coming days.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is the first entry in the Armored Core series since Armored Core: Verdict Day, which was released in 2013. Armored Core: Verdict Day received “mixed or average reviews” on the review aggregation website Metacritic on its release.

In April, it was revealed that the Armored Core 6 Collector’s Edition will cost $450 and include:

  • Exclusive, art-themed steel book
  • Luxurious art cards
  • In-depth artbook
  • Digital soundtrack
  • Sticker pack
  • Pin badge set
  • Base game (of course)
  • Poster
  • 19cm Figurine of a mech
  • 32cm Garage to store the mech

Armored Core 6: Fire of Rubicon is scheduled to release August 25, 2023, on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Interview: Double Eleven on Building a Better Fallout 76 with Bethesda

I’ve been a relatively dedicated Fallout fan since I first played Fallout 3 way back in 2008.
