The Bracket Stage has concluded at the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Split 2 Playoffs with just 20 teams remaining.
Following the shock of DINOS leading the ALGS Group Stage, there was an air of unpredictability ahead of the Loser’s and Winner’s Brackets.
And a three-way tie for tenth in the Winner’s Bracket suggested that the chaos was going to continue.
Here’s a full recap of the ALGS Year 6 Split 2 Playoffs Bracket Stage in Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena.
The First Eliminations
Following the first Loser’s Bracket Semifinals, the following teams were all eliminated from the competition:
- RIDDLE ZERO
- 7VEN
- ENTER FORCE.36
- Lawson TicketXone
- Team Eclipse
- VK Gaming
- Pork Xiaolongbao Xpert
- KINOTROPE
- Titan Esports Club
- Deep Cross Gaming
RIDDLE ZERO, 7VEN, ENTER FORCE.36, Lawson TicketXone, Team Eclipse, VK Gaming, Pork Xiaolongbao Xpert, KINOTROPE, Titan Esports Club, and Deep Cross Gaming.
The result was particularly gutting for APAC North’s RIDDLE as they barely missed out, finishing just two points behind Parivision.
Meanwhile, VexX Gaming and Gaimin Gladiators led the way with 74 and 71 points apiece, moving into the Lower Bracket Final.
AGLS Split 2 Playoffs Winner’s Bracket Leads to Three-Way Tie
Then, the Winner’s Bracket Semifinal led to some spectacular matches with teams fighting to finish in the top 10 and secure their spot in Finals.
The block went down to the wire, with multiple teams in the bottom half making it deep into Match 6 with a chance to still crack the top 10.
In the end, White Grim Reaper lived up to the name by ending multiple teams and holding their nerve to score the points they needed.
Meanwhile, the race for 10th was agonisingly close with three teams tying for the spot on 10 points and even more teams just one or two points behind.
But it was CC team Forged Wolves who claimed the coveted spot via tiebreaker rules thanks to their 1st place finish in Match 1.

ALGS Split 2 Playoffs Final Teams Confirmed
A tense Loser’s Bracket Final then confirmed the final 10 teams who are through to tomorrow’s Match Point Finals to fight for the title.
RRQ and Wolves Esports emerged as early leaders, while the fight for 10th again ended up being extremely close.
In the penultimate Game 5, reigning World Champions Sentinels were struggling towards the bottom of the standings with just 12 points.
After getting themselves into an advantageous spot, Sentinels were suddenly the only bottom-half alive and had a huge opportunity.
They made it count, coming out on top of a standoff with Alliance and RRQ to win the match and move seven places into 9th with just one game remaining.
Meanwhile, Split 1 Playoffs Champions UNLIMIT were also struggling and found themselves in the bottom half at the start of Match 6.
NRG in 10th were also worried, as the voice comms from Christopher ‘sweetdreams’ Sexton revealed: “Listen, no-one else knows we’re in a mental shambles.”
Eventually, NRG were eliminated in 10th with 29 points and it just wasn’t quite enough as All Gamers Global barely took the final spot.
The final results for the Lower Bracket Finals were as follows:
- Qualified
- RRQ – 71
- Alliance – 70
- Gaimin Gladiators – 53
- Wolves Esports – 50
- PARIVISION – 50
- REJECT – 48
- Team WaR – 42
- Geekay Esports – 35
- Sentinels – 31

- Eliminated
